The Spring Hill Garden Club announced the winner of its Holiday in the Gardens tree-decorating contest at the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens in December.  The People's Choice award for best-decorated tree went to People Helping People.  Christmas trees were planted by volunteers many years ago throughout the botanical gardens.  Each year, clubs, businesses, organizations and individuals decorate the trees in early December, and visitors vote for their favorite throughout the month.  Proceeds are used to maintain the 23 themed gardens, which were designed and planted by volunteers.
