Members of the Weeki Wachee Anglers club and members of their families photograph and document their catches during the month to qualify for the largest catch and named "Angler of the Month."

At its May meeting,  Cynthia Mullon was recognized as Angler of the Month for April.  Cynthia caught an 18" catfish on April 12th six miles out from the Bayport channel.

At the June meeting, Richard Keane was recognized as Angler of the Month for May.  He caught a 40", 20+ lb., King Mackerel out of Bayport.At the July meeting, Quinn Bagley was recognized as the Junior Angler of the Month for June.  Quinn is 9 years old, from Lexington, SC, and the grandson of club members Ed and Evelyn Connor.  He caught a 16" Flounder at Middle Rock on June 9th.At the August meeting, Anthony Martino was recognized as Angler of the Month for July.  He caught  25" Red Grouper out of Anclote on July 7th.
